(That's a big title!)

Following this discussion created by Sean, we should decide what should be the process to accept to include a feature developed in a fork of the project into the main line (default branch / trunk) of development.

Everyone is welcome to give his/her opinion but only team members can decide which is the best way.

Here is my proposal:

  1. Create a feature request / issue detailing the feature developed in the Fork.
  2. Decide if the feature stays as is or the team wants a changes in the specifications.
  3. Decide if the way it was developed fits the Nearforums' dev guide.
  4. Assign a team member to integrate it.

What do you think?

Jorge, I think the suggestions you are making are great. We also want to make sure that any changes or features align within the project mission statement. I mean, it's not like we want to be too rigid about it, but it's certainly nice to adhere to it as much as possible.
