Near Forums is purging thread of link (<a> tags)

I don't know why this happens. In sample forum it works well.
I'm using compiled DLL, I didn't modified the project in any way.
Yet, I still can't paste a link. In editoir (tinyMCE) everything looks fine but after posting thread to the DB NF purges links.

I didn't understood: Are you using the released version or you are using a compiled version of the source code (if so, which branch)?

I used the released version.

I'm not able to reproduce it...
It is for any link?
Could you try creating a link to using the TinyMCE?

Thanks to you I found the real problem. NF doesn't purge normal <a> tags. The problem I was struggling with was the "mailto" protocol.
Normal "http://...." links work well. Is there any way to allow "mailto" prefixes in HREF?

I haven't tested it and I don't recommend it (could allow dangerous injections? don't know), but here it goes:
On the Site.config, include "a" as allowed element:
            allowedElements="b(lockquote)?|code|d(d|t|l|el)|em|h(2|3|4)|i|kbd|li|ol|p(re)?|s(ub|up|trong|trike)?|ul|a" />

It is, in fact, pretty dangerous.
Yet, it is nice to know, what to do when there is a real need.
I'll listen to you and stick to links only.

I appreciate your great help.
