OAuth using our own endpoint?

Feb 19, 2013 at 12:38 AM
We just launched an online course and are looking to outsource a forum. Is there any way to use OAuth with our own OAuth endpoint with nearforums; not Google, FB, Twitter, etc.?

As is today, currently you can not use your own OAuth provider with Nearforums.
Currently, there are 3 ways to authenticate your users into the forum:
  • ASP.NET Membership
  • Custom database authentication
  • OpenId webring
If you could create an OpenId endpoint, it should be really straight forward.

Kind regards,
